My Personal Wine Steward

In search of great Happy Hours.

Here are my finds:

Milano's in Stone Oak is an Italian restaurant with a great Happy Hour.  they have a great selection of appetizers and the staff is attentive and well trained.  Ask for Dennis and tell them Alton sent you.

New Restaurants and Restaurants We Love

Reds, Whites, and Brews

This is a new restaurant on Huebner and Churchill Estates.  They have great wine and beer.  The owner and Chef, Robert, is amazing.  the dishes are made to perfection.  He has a fairly eclectic set of wines to try, many that go extremely well with the food he prepares.  Happy Hour starts at 4 pm

Tribeca in Alamo Heights

Bistro-style Restaurant formerly owned by our friend Jean Francois.  The exploration dinner club members visited and loved it.  Don't wait give it a try.  Always let them know you were recommended by My Personal Wine Steward. (Ask for Rudy-the wine steward)

This restaurant on Broadway is an Asian restaurant.  From the outside you would drive by and not slow down-but that would be a HUGE is mistake.  The chef is from Vietnam and incredible Asian and Italian (yes Italian) chef.  the real attraction however is the wine.  they have a lot of it, some familiar and some quite esoteric, all reasonable priced.  If you love good wine and good food you have to check this place out.  Tell them My Personal Wine Steward sent you
